Grammy Nomination For Beres Hammond and Sizzla Kalonji

Reggae Crooner Beres Hammond last night earned his second ever nomination for a Reggae Grammy when his album One Love, One Life received the nod for Best Reggae Album for 2014.

Hammond previously received a nomination for his album Music Is Life which was released in 2001. One Love, One Life was released by VP records earlier.

Also earning a nomination for Best Reggae Album were Sly & Robbie and the Jam Masters for Reggae Connection; Sizzla with his project Messiah; Ziggy Marley for Ziggy Marley in Concert and Snoop Lion, also known as Snoop Dog and Snoop Zilla for his project Reincarnated.

Messiah is the first ever nomination for Sizzla who released this latest work on VP Records this year. The Rastafarian who has been recording albums from as early as 1995, has so far released in excess of 30 projects.

Major Mackerel Said Elephant Man Afraid To Clash The Old Man @ Sting 2013

Veteran entertainer Major Mackerel says he was disrespected by Elephant Man and is now upset. According to Major Mackerel, the diss came after he did a dubplate for Kip Rich which was used in a sound clash with Ele which ultimately slayed the “energy god”.Major Mackerel gives Music News the saga.

LA LEWIS SAID BOUNTY KILLER & OTHER ARTISTS ARE LIPTON TEA BAG

It is widely rumoured that Mad Cobra the veteran tough-talking deejay will do battle with another hardcore dancehall act. 

The Artist was recently in an Interview that can also be read in The Jamaica Star which he said  "I will put some of the money I got from my early Sting performances ... in the jackpot cause mi ready fi murder some people; just put me (up) against the top three and mi will kill them. It no matter which order dem come up in, ah just one result and one outcome, dem a go dead. Mi nuh have nothing to prove, mi nuh have no Sting title but mi badda than the whole ah dem," he said. 

But la Lewis as complete a song tittle "betta Nuh Run" which he called Bounty killer, ninja man and Mad Cobra, "lipton Tea bag".  The big question being asked by everyone is who will Mad Cobra clash with at Sting this year? Could it be La Lewis, Kiprich, or Ninja Man?
