Natty King rose to prominence in the early 2000s as he landed his first hit produce by DJ Trinity  with ‘Mr. Greedy’, which reached the  #1 position on the Jamaican charts. His next single, again, produced by super producers Steely & ClevieNo Guns To Town’ debuted at #1 in the Jamaican video charts.

In the following years Natty King toured the world to bring the message of reggae and Rastafari 

 In 2010 Natty King teamed up with Austria’s House of Riddim for his hit-filed 16-track ‘Born Free” album. The ‘Born Free’-album did a lot for the artist as it expanded his fanbase globally, which was followed with more touring to perform his new hit tracks like ‘Real Herbalist’, ‘Born Free’ ‘Purge Dem’, ‘Care for life’ and ‘Evil Surround Me’.

Working closely alongside The Eastern Kindergarten and Preparatory School along with Hopeton Brown of Nyah Bless Music in east Kingston. The school got a boost with a donation of a printer and fan The appliances were purchased with funds from WelloFest, a charity concert staged by the roots artiste natty king.

Students Of Crescent Primary School Walking In Style

In a recent press release Dated September 15 Founder and Executive Director for Give Back Jamaica, Inc. Dr. Evelyn Richardson said "Crescent Primary School made her the person she is today," she said her parents could not provide school shoes, not only for her, but also for her brothers and sisters. This is my opportunity to support the underserved youths in Jamaica”

We are all going through difficult times but, some children are having really difficult times since the covid19 It is sometimes difficult for someone who has never experienced #poverty to truly understand what a young child goes through.

Mr. Brown said "We decided on the shoe project due to the need. Many students did not have adequate footwear for school,” he said “We had initially planned to purchase the shoes overseas, but thought it would be better to support the local economy. That’s when we began searching for a local retailer and ended up choosing Sammy’s Shoe Store”. He also said Crescent Primary School is badly in need of desks for its students.

Mama Afrika Riddim Produce By Nyah Bless Music Creating A Buzz

What so special about Mama Afrika? In a recent interview with Hopeton Brown, CEO of Nyah Bless Music, had this to say to Djslick44 about the album. the midst of the 2020 pandemic, the Philadelphia-based Nyah Bless Music remains vigilant in the production of positive music. Teaming with longtime business partner, Jam Roc Productions, the focus shifted to Afrika resulting in another gem “Mama  Afrika”.  creating a buzz on "Sweet Riddim Radio"played by Betty luv and can be heard on www.purevybzradio.org with Dj Red Lion also Iriefm.net and Suncity104.9fm and Roots fm 96.1 

Produced by Hopeton Brown and Franz  Richards, the album is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and on all major digital platforms. He said I have to give credit to Junior Jam Roc who was very instrumental in bringing Rastavoice ProductionsDigiwaxx, and Irish and Chin to the team.

Rastavoice Productions, alongside Junior “Jam Roc” Lyn penned and produced five tracks on  the album. Black Dillinger from the rough ghettos of Cape Town, South Afrika sings “Afrikan  People”, Prince Osito from Nigeria follows with “Afrikan Child” and Rebellion the Recaller, the  internationally known artiste from Gambia continues to break down barrier of Race and  Religion with the track “Woman” Two female artists, Marga Mbande, of Equatorial Guinean  descent and Charli Fletcher, United Kingdom are also featured. Digiwaxx, the free online  digital pool for DJs, and the renowned Irish and Chin, our media partners will handle music  marketing and promotion. 

Jamaica, the birthplace of reggae music, is well represented on the album. Leading the charge  is Karamanti with a powerful and riveting track “Stand” pushing back against principalities,  powers, and spiritual wickedness in high places. Natty King, the Man from the East is all  about “Powers” and the original teacher “Teacha Dee” has places to go and things to do with  his rendition of “Train Delay”.

Bunny Wailer died on March 2 at the age of 73

The legendary icon, whose real name was Neville Livingston, had an illustrious career that spanned at least seven decades. He was the last surviving member of the original Wailers that included Bob Marley and Peter Tosh.

The legendary iconic singer died at the Medical Associates Hospital in Kingston on March 2. He was 73. Up until that time, Bunny Wailer was the lone front-line surviving member of the iconic group, Wailers, and has long been a stand-out figure on both local and international reggae stages.

Born in 1947, ‘Jah B’ was a singer, songwriter and percussionist, who, along with Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, were members of the Wailers.

A three-time Grammy award winner, he is considered one of the long-time standard-bearers of reggae music.

In 2017, he was conferred with the Order of Merit (OM), the fourth-highest honour in Jamaica, for his contribution to popular music.

news of his death has seen his biggest hits topping the charts and radio playlists. Like other legendary artistes before him, including Michael Jackson, Prince, and Toots Hibbert,

Bunny Wailer wrote and produced Marcia Griffith's 'Electric Boogie' which is at #94 on the iTunes top 100 chart. He arranged the Bob Marley and the Wailers' hit, Sun is Shining which is at #75 on the charts.
