Mama Afrika Riddim Produce By Nyah Bless Music Creating A Buzz

What so special about Mama Afrika? In a recent interview with Hopeton Brown, CEO of Nyah Bless Music, had this to say to Djslick44 about the album. "This is a very special album, and the name says it all “Mama Afrika”. This album includes  7 Afrikan artists paying tribute to Afrika with a powerful message to the world. The stars were definitely aligned in making this project a success. The artists were magnificent. The lyrical content absolutely amazing." 

the midst of the 2020 pandemic, the Philadelphia-based Nyah Bless Music remains vigilant in the production of positive music. Teaming with longtime business partner, Jam Roc Productions, the focus shifted to Afrika resulting in another gem “Mama  Afrika”.  creating a buzz on "Sweet Riddim Radio"played by Betty luv and can be heard on www.purevybzradio.org with Dj Red Lion also Iriefm.net and Suncity104.9fm and Roots fm 96.1 

Produced by Hopeton Brown and Franz  Richards, the album is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and on all major digital platforms. He said I have to give credit to Junior Jam Roc who was very instrumental in bringing Rastavoice ProductionsDigiwaxx, and Irish and Chin to the team.

Rastavoice Productions, alongside Junior “Jam Roc” Lyn penned and produced five tracks on  the album. Black Dillinger from the rough ghettos of Cape Town, South Afrika sings “Afrikan  People”, Prince Osito from Nigeria follows with “Afrikan Child” and Rebellion the Recaller, the  internationally known artiste from Gambia continues to break down barrier of Race and  Religion with the track “Woman” Two female artists, Marga Mbande, of Equatorial Guinean  descent and Charli Fletcher, United Kingdom are also featured. Digiwaxx, the free online  digital pool for DJs, and the renowned Irish and Chin, our media partners will handle music  marketing and promotion. 

Jamaica, the birthplace of reggae music, is well represented on the album. Leading the charge  is Karamanti with a powerful and riveting track “Stand” pushing back against principalities,  powers, and spiritual wickedness in high places. Natty King, the Man from the East is all  about “Powers” and the original teacher “Teacha Dee” has places to go and things to do with  his rendition of “Train Delay”. 

The album is a great mixture of cultural reggae and solid lyrical content promoting positive  awareness, Question Asking and Revolution by JR Blessington and Greg Roy respectively.  Every artiste has their own specific style and perform superbly on the rhythm. The project also  features Obibini Blackdin, Ghana, Blessed San, Uganda; Avalanche and City Lock from  Jamaica, and several Jamaican artists based overseas, Milton Blake, and Iam Malakhi.
