Mr. Brown said "We decided on the shoe project due to the need. Many students did not have adequate footwear for school,” he said “We had initially planned to purchase the shoes overseas, but thought it would be better to support the local economy. That’s when we began searching for a local retailer and ended up choosing Sammy’s Shoe Store”. He also said Crescent PrimarySchool is badly in need of desks for its students.

Black Dillinger from the rough ghettos of Cape Town, South Afrika sings “Afrikan People”, Prince Osito from Nigeria follows with “Afrikan Child” and Rebellion the Recaller, the internationally known artiste from Gambia continues to break down barrier of Race and Religion with the track “Woman” Two female artists, Marga Mbande, of Equatorial Guinean descent and Charli Fletcher, United Kingdom are also featured. Jamaica, the birthplace of reggae music, is well represented on the album.
