Reggae Crooner Beres Hammond last night earned his second ever nomination for a Reggae Grammy when his album One Love, One Life received the nod for Best Reggae Album for 2014.
Hammond previously received a nomination for his album Music Is Life which was released in 2001. One Love, One Life was released by VP records earlier.
Also earning a nomination for Best Reggae Album were Sly & Robbie and the Jam Masters for Reggae Connection; Sizzla with his project Messiah; Ziggy Marley for Ziggy Marley in Concert and Snoop Lion, also known as Snoop Dog and Snoop Zilla for his project Reincarnated.
Messiah is the first ever nomination for Sizzla who released this latest work on VP Records this year. The Rastafarian who has been recording albums from as early as 1995, has so far released in excess of 30 projects.
