He may be new to the live show scene, but Tony Frass certainly entertained at the Chelsea Fun Bar in New Kingston last week.
The midweek show began at 10 p.m., with Ras Shadai, a poet, who opened with mind-boggling poetry pieces. Ya Roots Band followed with a string of songs from acts like Bob Marley and Gregory Isaacs. But the lights went dim for Tony Frass, as he took the stage at 10:30 p.m.
In a rather composed manner, Frass started his set on a positive note and got favourable response from the audience, doing songs such as Joyful Noise and Wave Off The Crosses, which will be featured on his EP, scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2014.
While he was the focus for the night, Frass also introduced other members of the Liv Up Records camp, I Flames and Terrific.
Later in his hour-long set, he invited Bounty Killer to the stage.
"Youth you are a star and I've been watching the show for one and a half hours, and I must say every song shat," Bounty Killer said, before Frass was commended by Zagga from Chimney Records.
